Since 1996 the Monuments Fund of Aruba is engaged in the financing of restoration and maintenance, management and operation of protected monuments and is the financial institution on the field of heritage conservation.

The private foundation is the oldest and largest organization in the field of preservation of monuments in the former Netherlands Antilles. She has over the years been a great stimulator for the preservation of the built heritage.

Bonaire
The ‘Mangazina di Rei’ (The King’s Repository) was used by the Dutch government in the nineteenth century to store rations for government slaves. Today, the Repository is used to preserve Bonaire’s cultural wealth for present and future generations. Its purpose is one of study, education, and enjoyment.

The largest National Park on Curaçao
The Christoffel National Park is the largest and most biodiverse park on the island. In the park you can find stunning nature, the Christoffel Mountain, beautiful birds, the national white tailed deer and wonderful hiking trails. We offer tours, guided hikes, and seasonal activities. Inside the park you can find the Savonet Museum.
Saba’s Harry Luke Johnson Museum is appropriately located in an original Saban cottage in Windwardside. It stands in the middle of a beautiful romantic garden in landscape style, which is used as a public park for picnics, in the past also for Sunday croquet games, and Easter egg hunts.
